12th Annual Art Auction, Saturday, November 6, 2010 The 12th Annual Art Auction and the accompanying six week exhibition is the Bemis Center's largest annual fund-raising event. The art auction features over 200 local, national and international artists and spans 4 galleries and over 10,000 square feet of gallery space. The event is a kaleidoscopic survey of contemporary art, drawing over 600 people to the auction event and is truly the most anticipated art event of the season. Our Art Auction is centered around the core of the Bemis Center’s mission to support exceptional talent, with all auction proceeds invested back into the Bemis Center's international artist-in-residence program, thus completing a cyclical process of artists supporting artists.
