Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts proudly presents the Benefit Art Auction + Concert on Friday, October 26, 2018!
This annual celebration highlights the generosity and diversity that characterize contemporary art. By celebrating these values, the auction is an ideal opportunity for the public to support creativity in a tangible way. Sales and donations are reinvested back into Bemis Center, to provide financial and practical support to artists year round.
More than 300 works of art selected by Sarah Berkeley, Artist and Assistant Professor of Art, Nebraska Wesleyan University; Santiago Cal, Artist and Associate Professor of Art, Art History, and Design, University of Nebraska-Lincoln; Peter Fankhauser, Artist and Programs Manager, Omaha Creative Institute; Renee Ledesma, Artist and Assistant Manager, Visions Custom Framing; and Todd J. Tubutis, Associate Director, Sheldon Art Museum are available for Benefit Art Auction patrons to add to their collections. After the Auction, join us for the Concert in partnership with Maha Music Festival featuring dream-pop duo Azure Ray and a rare solo performance by Vancouver indie-rock band Destroyer.
Thank you for supporting Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts. We look forward to celebrating with you on October 26, 2018!
